Selden, New York, 2010

A very unique set of furnishings was created for a community college in New York. Designs incorporated raw steel and solid cherry; planning and design by Huston & Company with project architect and Director of Facilities. The scope of this project included reading and study tables, end panels and canopies, shelving for periodicals and media, “pinwheel” carrels and booktrucks. Oh, and a coat tree.

My office is where we greet and welcome new families to school and it was so importnat to us that we create a space that was warm and inviting. Bill came and listened to all of our needs and easily came up with the perfect design for the space. I couldn't be more thrilled with the end result. The pieces are both beautiful and functional.
