A group of almost 90 of our friends, customers, and family members gathered together at our showroom and workshop at the end of last week to help us celebrate Huston & Company’s 30th Anniversary. Though we’d had a rainy week, the sun managed to come out just in time for the party and we enjoyed the perfect chilly, but not too cold, fall weather all evening long.
There were lots of old photos and mementos from the last 30 years on display that provided a walk down memory lane for many of our longtime customers and friends.
Kennebunk’s Destination Catering was on-site, serving drinks from their Airstream bar and keeping guests plenty happy with their famous lobster rolls. Kate picked up buckets of flowers grown right next door at Frinklepod Farm, and created arrangements for each table which provided the perfect pop of fall color for our guests to enjoy.
Knowing there would be a number of young children in attendance, Saer set up a crafts table in the middle of the workshop for kids, young and old, to create wooden blocks and bookmarks. On a nearby workshop table, guests were invited to sand and oil their own cheese boards. Both tables were a hit with practically everyone in attendance!
A big thanks to everyone who came out last week to help us celebrate 30 wonderful years of Huston & Company! It means such a great deal to all of us to have had your support for the first 30 years of our business – here’s to another 30!
