Gill St Bernards School

Gladstone, New Jersey, 2009

Cherry furniture was built for this independent school’s new upper school library and student center. Designs developed in collaboration with the Library Director. Project included study tables and chairs, occasional tables, end panels, canopy tops, and periodical shelving. Unique elements included stained glass panels integrated into end panels and chess boards incorporated into canopy tops.

In my view, Bill Huston's furniture projects a level of quality and taste in its design, craftsmanship and finish not apparent in others I've seen here and elsewhere...I can also attest to the care his workers give their workplace, their materials and every detail of the entire woodworking process.
